Jara and I are adopting two ferrets come tomorrow evening. We’ve decided on the names Meriadoc Brandybuck, aka Merry, and Peregrin Took, aka Pippin. There was a third one who is not with his brothers because he attacks just about anything, we aptly named that one Sméagol. Can’t wait to bring them home ^ .^ We decided on those names so if one did something wrong we can say “Fool of a Took!” Yeah, yeah, we know, we’re nerds :)

While I’m not the person to make weight loss a new years resolution, I am the person to set a craft goal for myself. I’ve decided to either do one craft a day or one craft each week. I’ll admit, 365 projects is a bit much when you’re working two part time jobs…seven days a week…, which is why I threw in the once a week project. Because fifty-two is so much easier.

That bring said, I like to announce that my first project of the year was sold within a few hours of its post to Facebook. That made me very happy! My second project, Tardis mug, was made as a special order! And my third project, my Tardis skirt was completed and I totally enjoy wearing it. The next project will be transforming some t-shirts I have laying around into reusable bags. Because I don’t have enough of those! I hope to have updated pictures of my projects up soon :)
